Summary: Relationship building can feel like a moving target when you have organizational and grant goals to achieve, which may not always align with the interest of those you want to most connect with. This workshop will offer tools to help you design outreach strategies for developing and sustaining authentic and trusting community relationships.
Objectives: At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Share the value of “Collaborative Dreaming.”
- Explain how being Trauma-Aware and Trauma-Sensitive is at the foundation of building authentic and trusting community relationships.
- Define General Community Capacity and why it must be at the foundation of building authentic and trusting relationships.
- Outline strategies for identifying stakeholders’ interests and needs.
- Explain the importance of caring for yourself and others in ways that promote resilience.
