Celebrating 30 Years of Helping Hoosiers

Founded in 1995, ASPIN has grown from a small network of community mental health providers into a statewide leader in behavioral health services, workforce development, and innovative training programs. Over the past three decades, ASPIN has secured millions in state and federal funding, developed nationally recognized CHW and Certified Recovery Specialist programs, and built Indiana’s first Department of Labor–approved CHW apprenticeship. Through initiatives like the Health Navigator Program, ASPIN has supported thousands of Hoosiers with access to care, insurance enrollment, and community-based resources—continuing its mission to improve health outcomes across Indiana.
