CERTIFIED NAVIGATOR/COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER (CHW)

Based remotely from your home, interacting with your local Indiana community.

Paid online training for Federal and State Navigator Certifications.
Paid online Indiana Community Health Worker Certification.
Paid mileage based on IRS rate.
Computer equipment and software and printer provided.
Cell phone provided.
Full health benefit package.
10 Paid Federal Holidays.
80 hours vacation annually.
40 hours sick time annually.
Eligible for annual retention bonus.
Education Minimum GED.
Starting hourly rate with no experience $19.65 an hour.
Starting hourly rate Bilingual navigator $21.00 an hour.
Full Time – 40 hours a week.

ASPIN Health Navigators/CHW assist Hoosiers by offering free enrollment assistance through virtual or in-person appointments, interpreting plan options and financial eligibility for applicants, assisting with plan selection, educating the applicant about next steps and following up with any applicant that does not complete the process in one meeting. Other additional duties include group presentations, community outreach, making phone calls from referrals, informing community organizations about services, and distributing marketing materials.
